Workshops focus on West African fruit and vegetable sectors

Lomé, Togo, 7 April 2017/ COLEACP/ ACP: National and regional talks on enhancing the West African fruit and vegetable sector while boosting exports, took place in Lomé, Togo from 4-6 April, co-organised by the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Water Resources of the Republic of Togo, the ACP Secretariat and the COLEACP.

The workshops aimed to identify key factors for the development of successful fruit and vegetable sectors.

Suva, Fiji, 17 June 2015/ ACP-EU JPA: The specific problems of the Pacific region, such as climate change, fisheries, maritime security and regional integration, as well as the generation of fiscal revenues in ACP countries, were discussed by the ACP-EU Joint Parliamentary Assembly at its 29th session, which closed on Wednesday in Suva (Fiji).

COMMUNIQUE - 13th ACP Ministerial Conference on Sugar

The ACP ministers responsible for sugar met at the Shangri-La’s Fijian Resort in Fiji from 14-17 October for their 13th ACP Ministerial Conference on Sugar.  The Conference was opened by the Prime Minister of Fiji, Commodore Josaia Voreqe Bainimarama and was chaired by the Hon. Satya Veyas Faugoo, Minister responsible for Agro Industry and Food Security of Mauritius and the Chairman of the ACP Ministerial Committee on Sugar.
