Update on Negotiations

On 28th September 2018 the ACP Group of States and the EU began negotiations for a successor Agreement to the Cotonou Agreement which comes to an end in February 2020. This section contains all you need to know about the negotiations.

Brussels, 26 April 2018/ ACP: The Secretary General of African, Caribbean and Pacific Group of States, H.E. Dr. Patrick I. Gomes received the Honourable Alamine Ousmane Mey, Minister of Economic Planning and Regional Development of the Republic of Cameroon during a courtesy call to the ACP House on Wednesday 25 April 2018.
Secretary General Gomes and Honourable Minister Ousmane Mey reaffirmed their mutual commitment to strengthening relations between the Republic of Cameroon and the ACP Group of States. They also discussed the future relations between ACP countries and the EU post-2020, as well as other key political and development issues of common interest.
Honourable Minister Alamine Ousmane Mey is an international renowned banker and a recognized expert in financing small and medium-sized businesses and infrastructure investments. He has energized his country’s economy through bold reforms and infrastructure developments.
