Addis Ababa, 22 November 2013/ ACP: Legislators from Africa, Caribbean and the Pacific meeting for the 34th ACP Parliamentary Assembly spoke vigorously on the rule of law and the role of judiciary in their countries, with some MPs backing a declaration against recent proceedings of the UN’s International Criminal Court involving serving African leaders.

Maputo, 31 October 2013/ Macauhub/ Noticias: The Mozambican government will continue negotiating the removal of taxes it currently pays on exporting sugar to the European Union, the Minister for Industry and Trade, Armando Inroga said.

Award-winning women’s champion honoured at ACP

Brussels, 25 October 2013/ ACP: Ethiopian women’s rights activist Bogaletch Gebre was welcomed for a special discussion session at the ACP House on Thursday, October 24th before receiving the 2013 Jean Rey International Prize at the European Parliament the same day.
