Abuja, 26 July 2013/ ACP/ ACP-EU JPA: The West African region of the ACP Group hosted the 10th session of the ACP-EU regional Joint Parliamentary Assembly on 17-19 July, bringing together parliamentarians from the 15 ECOWAS states and counterparts from the European Parliament to discuss key trade and development issues faced by the region.

Pacific-EU trade talks suspended

Brussels, 18 July 2013/ ACP/ PINA/ IB/ RA: The EU has suspended efforts to settle a trade deal with the 14-member Pacific ACP bloc, despite demands from the region to wrap up negotiations by the end of the year, according to Pacific media reports.
